Beth K. Whittenbury began her legal career in the Labor and Employment Law Group of what was then known as Pillsbury Madison and Sutro in their San Francisco Office. She left to found her consulting practice specializing in sexual harassment training, mediations and investigations. She has taught Business Law at the college level for 5 years. She served on the Board of Directors for the Northern California Human Resources Association (NCHRA, a chapter of SHRM), and as a member of the Professionals in Human Resources Association, (a Southern California chapter of SHRM) she served on the Board of Directors for PHIRA's District 7 and as a liaison to PIHRA's Legislative Affairs Committee. She is active in the American Bar Association and has served as Co-Chair of the Public Education Committee of the American Bar Association's Section of Individual Rights and Responsibilities. She has written two books, numerous articles and appeared as a presenter, moderator, and key note speaker for several major conferences. As one who highly values public education, Beth has served as a PTA President and continues in an active role for her local PTA. Beth has been recognized by her peers for her quality of professional service and high ethical standards as evidenced by her election to the Fellows of the American Bar Foundation, a group limited to 1/3 of the top 1% of attorneys practicing in each state. Beth served that organization as Western Regional Chair of the Fellows from 2004-2007 and sat on the Board of Directors of the American Bar Foundation from 1999-2005, with one year on the Executive Board. Ms. Whittenbury is an active member of the American Bar Association, the California Bar Association, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
